Jorginho Neto began his musical life at age 13, playing trombone at the church. When he was 18, he joined the University of Music Tom Jobim (formerly ULM). He studied with Walter Azevedo (popular trombone) and graduated with 22 years of age.
Since then, he has been invited to play with artists as Frank Sinatra Jr, Ivan Lins, João Bosco, Gilberto Gil. He also released several CDs and in 2014, he played at the brazil summer festival in New York. In June 2016, he played with the Jazz Symphony in London on BBC theater proms.
Currently he is releasing his new album Jorginho Neto Collective- Harlem. He is coordinator at Big Band College Souza Lima – SP Brazil.
